DON’T: Post Without a Purpose

Every post you make on social media should have a purpose. That might be raising awareness about a new product or service, promoting a sale or special offer, or simply providing valuable content that your followers will find useful or interesting. Whatever the purpose of your post may be, make sure it is clear before hitting “publish.” Otherwise, you run the risk of confusing or annoying your followers.

DO: Respond to Comments—Good and Bad

When someone takes the time to leave a comment on one of your posts, it’s important to acknowledge that comment—even if it’s negative. Ignoring comments—good or bad—will make your followers feel like their voices are not being heard and that their feedback is not valued. So, take the time to respond to comments—it’ll go a long way in making your followers feel appreciated!
